The below roles are with Top Tier and Mid Tier Civil Contractors whose forte is in the Roads and Earthworks space – the MINIMUM duration of these projects is 1 year, maximum 4 years and if the roles are FIFO, there are uplifts attached to these roles.

General requirements and responsibilities dependent on role:
An in depth understanding of water and wastewater systems and operations or delivery of Road and Rail projects to Australian standards
Undertaking of detailed design in water and wastewater infrastructure construction or transportation construction
Identification of design variations, options, risks and cost effectively solutions
Contract Interpretation, tender compilation, schedule and project reporting
Providing technical direction and advice throughout the execution stage
Create and implement work packages, liaise with subcontractors and stakeholders
An understanding of design, risk management, environmental and OHS standards
Commissioning of water/wastewater treatment infrastructure and transportation infrastructure
Experience on major projects within the water infrastructure sector including Dams, Bridges, earthworks, structures, mine infrastructure projects
Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in an engineering field preferably Civil, have strong communication and presentation skills and possess a minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering delivery on Australian Projects or similar experience in a design role for a client side or consultancy for the Civil Design Roles!
